Milton J. Reitman established Pediatric Cardiology of Long Island in 1981, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients from birth to 21 years of age. Dr. Reitman was joined by Ambrose M. Vallone in 1994. In addition to his own special brand of compassionate care, Dr. Vallone brought a great deal of experience in pediatric cardiology, particularly in echocardiography to the practice. Sean G. Levchuck joined in 1995 bringing with him a special interest in interventional cardiology. Most recently, Douglas M. Luxenberg joined the practice in 2006 bringing with him a strong interest in non-invasive cardiology.
